Case DescriptionJudicial Watch submitted two FOIA requests to the Department of Treasury. The first FOIA request asked for records concerning consideration by the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States pertaining to the Ukrainian company Burisma Holdings. The second FOIA request asked for records concerning the consideration by the Committee pertaining to the Chinese company Bohai Harvest RST. The agency acknowledged receipt of the requests but after hearing nothing further from the agency, Judicial Watch filed suit.
