Case DescriptionShark Sports & Entertainment submitted a FOIA request to the Federal Transit Administration for records relating to a light-rail parking lot at San Jose Diridon Station. The agency acknowledged receipt of the request. The agency denied the request based on several exemptions, primarily Exemption 5 (privileges). Shark Sports filed an administrative appeal of the decision, but after hearing nothing further from the agency, Shark Sports filed suit.
