Case DescriptionNick Turse, an investigative reporter, submitted a FOIA request to the Department of Defense and U.S. Africa Command for records concerning the investigation of an incident in which the Nigerian air force bombed the Rann Internally Displaced Persons' camp. The agency acknowledged receipt of the request and disclosed some records. Turse followed up with another request. After hearing nothing further from the agency, Turse filed suit.
