Case DescriptionThe ACLU of Southern California and the ACLU of Nevada submitted FOIA requests to the Department of Homeland Security and U.S. Customs and Border Protection for records concerning local implementation of President Trump's travel ban. The ACLU of Southern California and the ACLU of Nevada also requested a fee waiver. The agencies acknowledged receipt of the requests, but after hearing nothing further from the agency, the ACLU of Southern California and the ACLU of Nevada filed suit.
