Case DescriptionAmerican Oversight submitted FOIA requests to the Department of Defense, the Department of Transportation, the Federal Aviation Administration, and the General Services Administration for records concerning the travel practices of senior federal officials, including the use of non-commercial air travel. All the agencies acknowledged receipt of the requests. DOD told American Oversight that it was referring the request to the Air Force as well. After hearing nothing further from any of the agencies, American Oversight filed suit.
