Case DescriptionThe Center for Biological Diversity submitted a FOIA request to the Department of Energy for records concerning the Interconnections Seam Study, an evaluation of options for improving the connections within the U.S. electrical grid. CBD also requested a fee waiver. The agency acknowledged receipt of the request. The agency asked CBD if it would accept responsive emails immediately and then choose relevant email attachments.
