2023-01-17MINUTE ORDER. Plaintiff has failed to timely serve the defendants or respond to the Court's show cause orders. The Court therefore ADVISES plaintiff, who has paid the filing fee and is proceeding pro se in this matter, that he is still obligated to follow the Federal and Local Rules of Procedure. See Jarrell v. Tisch, 656 F. Supp. 237, 239 (D.D.C. 1987). Included in those obligations is the responsibility to execute service of process on all of the defendants. See generally Fed. R. Civ. P. 4. Plaintiff may refer to Federal Rule 4, and the pro se Non-Prisoner Handbook, https://www.dcd.uscourts.gov/sites/dcd/files/ProseNON-PRISONERManual_2021.pdf (pgs. 8-11), for more information. Therefore, the Court hereby ORDERS Plaintiff to, by no later than February 17, 2023, properly serve all of the defendants named to this case and file returns of service properly attesting to same. See Fed. R. Civ. P. 4(m). Plaintiff is also ADVISED that this Court will dismiss this action without prejudice for failure to prosecute if the Plaintiff fails to complete service by February 17, 2023. Signed by Judge Carl J.
