2024-04-05 | | MINUTE ORDER. Upon the Court's consideration of the plaintiff's 4 Response to Order of the Court, it is ORDERED that Power the Future v. Dep't of State, 24-cv-768, shall be consolidated with Power the Future v. Dep't of State, 24-cv-472. The Court finds that the cases involve "common issues of fact," Local Civ. Rule 40.5(a)(3); see Fed R. Civ. P. 42(a), and that "consolidation will promote the interests of judicial economy, consistency, timeliness and convenience, without being likely to trigger any substantial risk of inconvenience, prejudice, delay or expense for the Court or the litigants," Nat'l Ass'n of Mortg. Brokers v. Bd. of Governors of Fed. Reserve Sys., 770 F. Supp. 2d 283, 287 (D.D.C. 2011). The cases should be consolidated before this Court in the earlier-numbered case. LCvR 40.5(d). Accordingly, the parties are directed that all filings in the consolidated cases should be made only in Case No. 24-cv-472. The Clerk of Court shall consolidate the cases.
