Case DescriptionGovernment Accountability & Overtsight submitted a FOIA request to the EPA for records concerning a memo prepared for a March 2022 meeting between EPA Administrator Michael Regan and congressional staff relating to sustainable energy. GAO requested expedited processing and a fee waiver. EPA acknowledged receipt of the request and granted the fee waiver request, but denied the request for expedited processing. After hearing nothing further from the agency, GAO filed suit.
