Case DescriptionInformed Consent Action Network submitted a FOIA request to Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency for records concerning contracts and agreements between the U.S. Government and Moderna or Modernatx, Inc. relating to COVID-19 vaccines. ICAN also requested expedited processing. DARPA acknowledged receipt of the request and denied ICAN's request for expedited processing. ICAN filed an administrative appeal of the denial of expedited processing. After hearing nothing further from the agency, ICAN filed suit.
