2024-10-2211MINUTES of Proceedings: Rule 16 Conference held before Magistrate Judge Stacie F. Beckerman by telephone on 10/22/2024. The parties report that Defendant expects to produce the records responsive to Plaintiff's FOIA request by the end of the year. Accordingly, the Court STRIKES all case management deadlines and ORDERS the parties to file a joint status report by January 10, 2025. The parties may file written consents to proceed before a magistrate judge at any time, but the Court recommends that the parties file consent forms before any dispositive motion (i.e., motion to dismiss, motion for summary judgment) hearing. (The consent form is attached.) For more information regarding the role of magistrate judges and consenting to magistrate judge jurisdiction, see ord.uscourts.gov/consent. The Court advises the parties that they must schedule a telephone conference with Judge Beckerman before filing any discovery motion.
