DC 1:2016cv02320 2019-05-16 MINUTE ORDER: The Court has received the parties' 63 Joint Status Report. Previously the Federal Bureau of Investigation ("FBI") completed its search for documents pertaining to Mr. Wooten and did not find any within the relevant parameters. See Joint Status Report, ECF No. 62 , at 2. The latest 63 Joint Status Report does not add anything about FBI's search. The latest 63 Joint Status Report does, however, indicate that the Bureau of Land Management ("BLM") has now completed its search for documents pertaining to Mr. Wooten and expects to complete processing of potentially responsive documents within 60 to 90 days, although perhaps longer based on certain anticipated review. Plaintiff prefers that processing be completed within 45 days, due to "on-going legal proceedings within this time period." However, as the Court has noted before, when Plaintiff made its Freedom of Information Act requests, Plaintiff did not request expedited treatment, so its requests are not in that queue. Accordingly, the Court shall adopt BLM's proposal that the parties file a further Joint Status Report by no later than JULY 19, 2019 . That Report shall address the status of BLM's review and production and propose a schedule for further proceedings. No Status Conference, telephonic or otherwise, is necessary at this time. Signed by Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly on May 16, 2019. (lcckk1) (Entered: 05/16/2019)

CAC 2:2019cv03610 2019-05-16 13 MINUTE ORDER IN CHAMBERS - COURT ORDER by Judge Percy Anderson. For all of these reasons, the Court concludes that Plaintiff's Complaint is frivolous and fails to state a claim. Plaintiff's Complaint is therefore subject to dismissal pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 1915(e). Plaintiff has failed to indicate how he could amend his Complaint to state a viable federal claim against Octapharma or Stafford Owens. The Court therefore concludes that leave to amend would be futile and dismisses this Complaint without leave to amend. The Court has not considered what, if any, remedies Plaintiff may possess under state law in state court. The Court therefore dismisses this action without prejudice. The Court will issue a Judgment of Dismissal consistent with this Order. (mrgo) (Entered: 05/16/2019)

NYS 1:2019cv01424 2019-05-16 NOTICE REGARDING INITIAL PRETRIAL CONFERENCE: An Initial Pretrial Conference is currently scheduled for May 28, 2019. Please note that since the conference was scheduled, the Court has changed its individual rules, and would like to bring the following paragraph to the parties' attention: The Court schedules initial pretrial conferences with the expectation that one or more of the parties would like an in-person opportunity to bring matters to the Court's attention, and it welcomes that opportunity. However, the Court recognizes that in certain circumstances as, for example, where the parties are in agreement about the proposed discovery schedule and have no issues to raise with the Court such conferences may represent less-efficient uses of the parties' time and resources. If the parties agree on a schedule that calls for the close of all discovery within six months, and have no other issues to raise with the Court, the parties can, if they wish, submit a Proposed Civil Case Management Plan and Scheduling Order and request in their joint letter that the initial pretrial conference be cancelled. The Court will ordinarily grant such requests. (tn) (Entered: 05/16/2019)
