Case DescriptionThe Electronic Frontier Foundation submitted FOIA requests to the Department of Defense for records concerning guidance or criteria for the Army Web Assessment Cell. EFF also requested expedited processing and inclusion in the news media fee category. The agency denied EFF's requests for both news media fee status and expedited processing. EFF filed an administrative appeal. The agency upheld its decision on news media fee status, but did not respond to EFF's appeal concerning expedited processing. EFF then filed suit.
