Case DescriptionCitizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington submitted a FOIA request to the IRS for records concerning CREW executive director Melanie Sloan. CREW also requested a fee waiver. The IRS told CREW that it could not respond within ten days and transferred the request to its Oklahoma City office. After hearing nothing further from the agency, CREW filed suit.
