American Transparency submitted a FOIA request to the National Institute of Health for records concerning a list/database of royalties paid to former NIH employees for work done while they were federal employees. The time frame was from October 2021 to September 2022. The agency acknowledged receipt of the request but after hearing nothing further from the agency, American Transparency filed suit.
