Case DescriptionCitizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington submitted a FOIA request to the Department of Health and Human Services for records concerning how faith-based initiatives affected federally funded pregnancy centers. CREW also asked for a fee waiver. The agency told CREW that had placed CREW in the others category for fee purposes. CREW filed an administrative appeal of that decision. After hearing nothing further from the agency, CREW filed suit.
