Case Description | International Refugee Assistance Project submitted a FOIA request to U.S. Customs and Boarder Protection for records concerning the Biden administration's decision to re-institute the Remain in Mexico program. IRAP also requested expedited processing and a fee waiver. The agency acknowledged receipt of the request and told IRAQ that its request for expedited processing was denied and its request for a fee waiver was not applicable. After hearing nothing further from the agency, IRAP filed suit.
