Thanks for a great site. You posted my complaint in Eakin v DoD and within just a few days I was contacted by someone interested in my issues and who shared some very valuable information with me.
Are you interested in additional information on a case such as MSJ’s?
Do you have any plans to make your case database searchable by FOIA issue (Exemption 1, 2, fee waiver, etc)?
Also, check your RSS widget – the chicklet takes me to the feed, but doesn’t connect to the reader.

Thanks for sharing the news that the site in its first week helped connect FOIA requestors with common interests in this way.
Yes, we do plan to add the capability to the website so that individuals can upload additional information on a case and add commentary. Please stay tuned… As to your questions on making the database searchable, this is already possible. You can type in any text phrase on the “Search Cases” page and search the entire database for documents matching those terms (exemptions, fee waiver, etc.). This returns a list of documents where that phrase was found. The items on the list are clickable so you can view any document directly. We are also currently looking for cost-effective mechanisms to permit tagging each case by a set of useful search terms.
The RSS link on the site is the standard WordPress subscription page that you would subscribe to using your own reader, for example Google Reader. If you don’t use your own reader, you can use Twitter; site tweets are also listed on the right-hand sidebar.
